Of course, alcohol consumption never really stopped - despite the law - and nowhere was this more prevalent than the many legendary moonshiners producing and selling their wares throughout the Southern Highlands. Bob will entertain you with stories of these colorful characters, how and why moonshining started, and its connection to the NASCAR racing industry.
